HIGHWAY

Perlis is adequately served with a good network of roads and highways. The North-South Highway, which transverse along the Peninsular Malaysia leads to the gateway of Perlis. Kuala Perlis – Changloon Highway connects Perlis to the North-South Highway.
 
 

RAILWAY

RAILWAY

The double track railway which was completed in 2015 provides direct access from Padang Besar to Penang Port by train. Travelling time for passenger train from Butterworth to Padang Besar is approximately 1.5 hours. Meanwhile, goods train or freight’s travelling time is approximately 2 hours.
 

AIRPORT

AIRPORT

The nearest airport is the Sultan Abdul Halim Airport in Alor Setar and is a mere 45 minutes drive from Kangar. Penang International Airport provides air cargo facilities, and it is only a 2 hours journey by road from Kangar.
