Overview
Perlis, is the smallest state in Malaysia and is located in the northwest
of Peninsular Malaysia. It is flanked by Thailand in the north, and by
Kedah to the east and south. Perlis consists of three Parliaments,
namely Kangar, Padang Besar and Arau.
The current ruler of Perlis is DYMM Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni
Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail. The Current Menteri Besar is
YAB Tuan Mohd Shukri bin Ramli. The state capital of Perlis is Kangar
and the royal city is Arau. Perlis is located within the Indonesia
MalaysiaThailand-Growth Triangle (IMT-GT).
