Chuping Valley Industrial Area (CVIA)
The Perlis State Government currently has the vision of transforming Perlis into a developed state by 2020, with focus on Green Manufacturing, Renewable Energy Generation and Halal Industries. This aim is to be achieved through the development of Chuping Valley Industrial Area (CVIA)
CVIA is located at the north east of Perlis and bordering the south of Thailand. The land area to be developed consists of 3,000 acres, for high value-added industries.
CVIA is projected to boost the development of the area, due to various commercial types of activity.
The existing road infrastructure and planned rail infrastructure would enhance cross border trade and increase logistics activities in Perlis.
